Differential equations, Laplace transforms, and systems of differential equations; brief introduction to Fourier series. Examples from engineering and physical sciences. Credit not granted for both MATH 3230 and MATH 3201. No credit for Mathematics majors. Prerequisite: MATH 2248. Co-requisites: Preferred: MATH 2522 or MATH 2544; or MATH 2500.

Section Description
Differential equations, Laplace transforms, matrix theory, and systems of differential equations; brief introduction to Fourier series. Examples from engineering and physical sciences. Credit not granted for more than one of the courses MATH 3230 or MATH 3201. No credit for Mathematics majors. Prerequisite: MATH 2248.
Section Expectation
You are expected to actively participate in this course. If you need help, you need to be responsible and get in touch with me. We are in this together! Yes, you will be expected to "attend" each live/online session! We will be meeting in "Teams"! Homework will be assigned. I expect you to do it! Do you require special accommodations? Evaluation
We will have online quizzes. We will also have a midterm examination and a final examination that you will do live online with the instructress. Final grade for the class is based upon: Quiz Average: 40%, Midterm Examination: 30%, and Final Examination: 30%. My grading system follows: A+: 97% – 100%, A: 94% - 96%, A-: 90% - 93%, B+: 87% – 89%, B: 84% - 86%, B-: 80% - 83%, C+: 77% – 79%, C: 74% - 76%, C-: 70% - 73%, D+: 66% – 69%, D: 64% - 66%, D-: 60% - 63%, and F: below 60%. It is in your best interest to take every quiz and the final examination. If you miss any of these, you earn a 0% for it. The midterm examination and the final examination will be taken and submitted during class.
