Section Description
Molecular and Cell Biology is a multidisciplinary endeavor that draws strength from biochemistry, genetics, physics, microbiology and other specialties. It is a science that asks questions about the most basic properties of life using the most sophisticated technology available. At its core, Molecular and Cell Biology is engaged in uncovering the fundamental processes of life. The implications of molecular and cell biology research are far ranging, from human health to bioremediation.
Section Expectation
This course combines lectures in a large-capacity lecture hall. Students should expect to spend 2-4 hours per week on coursework outside of class, with additional time for exam preparation.
Evaluation
Evaluation will include four unit exams.
