About MATH 2248 OL1
Vector-valued functions. Calculus of functions of several variables: partial derivatives, gradient, divergence, curl, multiple integrals, line integrals, Stokes' and Green's theorems. Prerequisite: C- or better in MATH 1248 or MATH 1242.

Section Description
This link above is to my Fall 2023 syllabus. The Spring 2024 course will be similar.
Section Expectation
This is an asynchronous online class. There will be video lectures for you to watch along with notes/supplements. I will be there to help via office hours (remote or face-to-face). You can expect to spend about 13-16 hours each week on this class. Evaluations are done in the WebAssign system. Most of you who have taken Math-1234:Calculus I and/or Math-1248:Calculus II most likely purchased access to WebAssign that allows for multi-semester access...so, you shouldn't need to purchase additional access to WebAssign. Otherwise, if you didn't take those courses or you didn't purchase multi-semester access previously, then the cost to access WebAssign is about $111 for the semester if you purchase access directly through WebAssign.
Evaluation
40% - Assignment Average (There are many assignments, and you get many attempts on each assignment.) 30% - Test 1 (Midterm Test) 30% - Test 2 (Final Exam)
