Section Description
This survey course is intended to provide an introduction to theory and research regarding the study of children and their development. The goals are (1) to introduce students to theoretical perspectives on child development, (2) to introduce students to key topics in child development, (3) to familiarize students with the methods that researchers use to study child development, and (4) to help students learn how to navigate a large enrollment course and become proficient at taking multiple choice examinations.
