How to Apply

Please follow these steps to apply to the Actuarial Science Program.

1. Complete the online program application.

2. Please call or email to schedule an appointment with an advisor: 800-639-3210 |

Please note that you will not be considered for admission into the Actuarial Science Program until you have had an appointment with an advisor.

3. Receive an application decision.

Once you have spoken with an advisor, the Actuarial Science team will review your application and send the decision via email within five (5) business days.

I understand that I will need to contact UVM's Continuing & Distance Education at (800) 639-3210 or (802) 656-2085 to set up a 15 minute phone interview with an advisor before I can be admitted to the program.

TAA-eligible: You may be TAA-eligible if you are a member of a group of workers who lost their jobs or experienced a reduction in wages as a result of foreign trade. In order to be eligible, a petition must have been filed with the US Department of Labor by or on behalf of your group and the Department must grant the petition and certify your worker group is eligible.

Educational Details

Students with a cumulative GPA under a 2.5 and above a 2.0 may seek permission to study abroad by submitting an Academic Eligibility Form (AEF) to their Academic Dean's office for consideration. Contact OIE to make an appointment with a study abroad advisor to discuss eligibility requirements and to pick up an AEF.
