Guaranteed Admission Program

According to US Census data, adults with a college degree earn nearly 80% more than their high school counterparts. The University of Vermont’s Guaranteed Admission Program (GAP) offers recent Vermont high school graduates and nontraditional adult learners the opportunity to demonstrate their academic readiness, earn college credit, and ultimately enroll in an undergraduate degree program at UVM.

UVM’s GAP students are highly motivated, committed to academic success, and well prepared for the college experience. After successfully completing a series of approved college courses and one-on-one sessions with an academic advisor, you will be positioned for guaranteed admission into the UVM undergraduate program of your choice (excluding the College of Nursing and Health Sciences).

At Continuing and Distance Education, we can help make your dream a reality, whether you’re planning to pursue a degree, make a career change, or you’re interested in professional or personal enrichment. No matter where you’ve started, UVM’s Guaranteed Admission Program can get you on the road to higher education.
