Sheri Baraw Smith

Sheri Baraw Smith has dedicated her career to Vermont’s hospitality industry, growing up in the resort business in Stowe. With a B.S. in Business from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Babson College, she returned in the early 1990s to lead her family’s Stoweflake Resort as Owner and General Manager, a role she held until its sale in 2021. Currently, she serves as Chief Operating Officer at Basin Harbor Resort. A results-driven hospitality executive with over 30 years of experience, Sheri brings expertise in resort operations, financial oversight, and team leadership. Known for her strategic vision and adaptability, she has successfully managed everything from daily operations to large-scale projects, consistently delivering excellence in high-pressure environments.
