Dr. Heil is a senior faculty member in UVM’s Vermont Center on Behavior and Health and a University Scholar. She has been a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on many grants from the National Institutes of Health, including a number developing contingency management as a treatment for substance use disorders and related clinical problems. Dr. Heil has more than 150 publications to her credit, many of which focus on contingency management, and she has co-written a book and multiple book chapters on this topic.
