Kevin is currently the Operations Manager at the Hunger Mountain Coop in Montpelier Vermont. The Co-op is the second largest coop in the state and cornerstone of the local and organic food movement in Montpelier and is unique in its community approach to providing the highest quality of locally produced products. Kevin oversees the day-to-day operations of this multimillion-dollar business and is responsible for 165 employees. He works closely with the General Manager and is a member of the senior management team.
He has a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and an A.A.S. in Culinary Arts from Cobleskill Agricultural and Technical College in Cobleskill NY. And 58 years combined experience across multiple disciplines in the hospitality industry, including restaurants, country clubs, hotels and contract food service.
Kevin is the Past Chairman of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Past Chairman of the Vermont Hospitality Council and was an appointee to the Governor’s Travel and Recreation Council which he also chaired for several years. He has also been recognized as Vermont’s Innkeeper of the Year in 2001 by the Vermont Lodging and Restaurant association.
