Section Expectation
Our main units involve 1) reflecting on your experiences and articulating your goals 2) working on effective resumes and 3) working on effective cover letters and interview preparation. Expect daily reading and short writing assignments, and peer response sessions in the resume and cover letter sections of the course.
Our course moves quickly: It's a 1 credit course, which works out to about 45 hours of work (this includes time spent reading assignments, posting, writing your documents, sharing them with each other and discussing them). The online format gives all of us a lot of flexibility, but please realize that success in this course requires a commitment to read thoughtfully, write thoughtfully, and post thoughtfully on a pretty regular basis through the winter session.
