S/U grading. Co-Req PHYS 1450. PHYS 1450 is a combined lecture/lab. Students should only register for PHYS 1460 if they wish to add an optional problem-solving session to their schedule. Open to Degree and PACE students
Section Description
Physics 1460 is a support course for students concurrently enrolled in Physics 1450. It is essentially a lecture-like extra-help session for Physics 1450.
Section Expectation
Students should have attempted the problems in the current Physics 1400 homework set before attending each class. Students will work in small groups and with the instructor on problem solving during the class. Students will generally submit one worked problem during each class meeting.
Evaluation
This is a S/U course graded on participation. Participation will be evaluated based on attendance and/or submitting proof of work in class. Students may miss three classes and still receive credit. There are no exams or tests in the class.
