Section Description
In Reading Japanese Manga we will be reading a variety genres of Japanese Manga in English Translation that engage contemporary issues in Japanese society. This is an introductory course that initially covers some basics about reading and analyzing manga, but majority of the course will be reading, analyzing and discussing the texts.
Section Expectation
You are expected to complete all of the readings and come prepared to discuss the content in class discussions.
