About BUS 3550 A
Teaches the ways in which digital tools and multiple platforms have created a wide range of marketing options for organizations. Theoretical strategy, professional engagements, and hands-on practice will illustrate the strategic reasons for utilizing digital marketing and how to use the tools most effectively. Prerequisites: BUS 2500; Business Administration major or minor.

Section Description
The centerpiece of this class is a semester-long digital marketing assessment and recommendations paper for a company of each student's choice. We also get hands-on with a 10-round digital advertising sim game, and will earn the industry-recognized Google Analytics and HubSpot Inbound Marketing certifications. Frequent industry guest speakers provide us real-world context. And we'll have fun doing all this!
Section Expectation
Attend and participate in class, obtain Stukent e-book and simulation bundle, do homework per University standards for a 3-credit course.
Evaluation
Grades are based on attendance and participation, a 10-round digital advertising simulation game, weekly chapter quizzes, and a semester-long final project.
