Section Description

A comprehensive review of the physiology of human and mammalian animals.

Section Expectation

Per University policy, approximately two hours of coursework should be completed outside of class for every hour in class. As such, at least 4-6 hours per week of work are expected outside of class for this three-credit course. iClicker is required for all students to be used for in class practice. Students are expected to read the assigned materials of anatomy of each system prior to class time and take a prelecture quiz using Blackboard (counts 5% of your final points). You should also read it thoroughly after the lecture and outline the material from the book. Taking exams provides a valuable opportunity to review material you have learned in class and to examine the depth with which you understand concepts. Studying for exams can involve a lot of memorization. Take home assignments are the “test yourself” questions in your text book covered in each lecture. You do not need to turn the assignments in, but regularly, some exam questions will be directly taken from those questions. No cell phone should be used during class and exams. Personal computer may be used during lectures at the last rows of classroom. For students who take exams at the Exam Proctoring Center, please book your times overlapped with the class exam times unless they are not possible with acceptable reasons.
