About EXSC 3501 B

Teaches how to measure and evaluate physiological function and structure. Prerequisites: ANPS 1190, ANPS 1200. Co-requisites: EXSC 3500.

Section Description

Exercise physiology is the study of how exercise impacts bodily functions and structures acutely and chronically. The main objective of this laboratory course is to learn how to measure and evaluate physiological function and structure.

Section Expectation

This course provides hands-on experience with laboratory and field based testing methodology that is germane to the main topics covered in EXSC 3500. Students are expected to complete a one time blood borne pathogen tutorial and preparatory assignments prior to attending lab each week. In addition, students will be engaged by being active participants in the laboratory tests.

Evaluation

A lab activity assignment will be completed for each laboratory experience.
