About PEAC 1152 D
Basic climbing techniques and holds are taught. Additionally, students learn how to belay and become familiar with climbing etiquette and safety practices.

PEAC fee: $210.00; Class takes place at Petra Cliffs; Students must provide own transportation; Open to Degree and PACE students
Section Description
Basic climbing techniques are taught from bouldering to lead climbing to cover a broad overview of techniques. Additionally, students learn how to belay, support one another and become familiar with climbing etiquettes and safety practices.
Section Expectation
Expectations are that folks attend class on time and show full participation.
Evaluation
Evaluation of the course is mostly participation based with one additional assignment where folks add value to the course by presenting a climbing-related topic to the class.
