Section Description
This course is a continuous course of Japanese elementary I (JAPN1100). This course is designed to develop students’ four basic skills in Japanese (speaking, listening, reading, writing) to communicate in Japanese in basic everyday situations. The course will cover the Genki I textbook lessons 6-11.
Section Expectation
This course consists of three days of in-person classes and one day of asynchronous Bright Space learning. Regular attendance and active participation are highly expected. If you missed more than 25% of the class, your final grade would be automatically deducted afterward. If you have legitimate reasons for your absence, you must communicate with your instructor.
