Prepare for a Master's in Accountancy

Does your future include a Master in Accountancy (MAcc)?

Begin working toward your future today by enrolling in one of UVM’s “Pre-MAcc courses”. Each of the courses in our “Pre-MAcc Sequence” is a prerequisite for UVM’s MAcc Program. Completion of these courses is required before students are permitted to enroll in the MAcc courses.

Applicants to the MAcc must meet the following minimum requirements*

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree
  • 2.75 GPA (4.0 scale) overall
  • 500 score on the GMAT (or the GRE Equivalent)**

*Applicants lacking the program's listed prerequisites may be given provisional admission as this coursework is undertaken.  No more than five years may lapse between satisfaction of the above criteria and application to the program.

**Students with an undergraduate accounting degree and an overall 3.2 GPA from UVM or another AACSB-accredited institution are exempted from the GMAT or GRE requirement.  UVM Accounting Concentration students may apply for acceptance into the MAcc program following the completion of their junior year.
