Faculty

Our faculty members bring many years of business and teaching experience to UVM’s Professional Actuarial Science Sequence. They have created a curriculum that is mapped to the certification exams in Actuarial Science. Throughout coursework, you will study material that is used on exams, allowing you to become familiar with the content and have more potential for success.

Joseph Kudrle

Joseph Kudrle, a senior lecturer with UVM’s College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, has a BS from St. Michael’s College and a master’s degree from the University of Vermont. He teaches Fundamentals of Financial Math (MATH 183) for UVM’s Professional Actuarial Science Sequence.

Katherine Merrill

Katherine Merrill, a lecturer with UVM’s College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, has a BS from Ohio State University and master’s degrees from Boston University and the University of Maine-Orono. She teaches Statistics for Business (STAT 183) for UVM’s Professional Actuarial Science Sequence.
