Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program

Tuition and Financing

We understand that choosing to continue your education and work toward your entrance into the medical field through our Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program is a big decision, both personally and financially. We’re here to help you make an informed decision and equip you with the financial information, support, and resources you need during that process.

It’s important to note there are many factors that will influence your tuition for the Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program. Your tuition will vary depending on the foundational courses you’ve already taken, whether you’re in-state or out-of-state, and how many credits you take each term.

The average Post-Baccalaureate Premedical student at UVM takes 26 credits during the academic year and 8 in the summer.

In-State Tuition: $683 per credit

Out-of-State Tuition: $1720 per credit

*Note: The amount you pay for your program will vary based on a variety of factors. Be sure to consult your academic advisor. The Program Tuition and Fees chart is available on the Student Financial Services website.
