Agroecology aims to both increase the ecological benefits of farming, as well as address concerns of economic viability and social justice throughout the food system.
UVM is offering a 9-credit, online Micro-Certificate of Graduate Study in Agroecology. The one-year program includes three courses: Introduction to Agroecology; Ecological Foundations of Agroecology (Science); and Agroecology, Food Sovereignty and Social Movements.
Courses in the micro-certificate represent the three dimensions of agroecology: science, movement and practice.
