UVM’s summer beekeeping course is available!
Through this course, students will acquire the knowledge you need to begin this rewarding hobby. Topics will include honey bee biology, integrated pest management techniques, how to test for hygienic behavior in bees and queen grafting/rearing! Students will get up close and personal to UVM’s 30 production hives through video demonstrations recorded at the UVM horticulture farm. This course is online and asynchronous.
