Tuition and Financial Aid

Is Federal or Institutional Financial Aid available? Also, is tuition remission available for UVM employees?

While this non-credit Certificate does not qualify for federal student grants, loans or University of Vermont scholarships, depending on your home state, this program may qualify for workforce development grants. Contact your State Department of Labor to determine which grants may support individuals seeking education to pursue opportunities for career change.

The Vermont Legislature designates a certain amount of grant money every year for Vermont residents who want to pursue education or training beyond high school. These grants are administered through the Vermont Student Assistance Corp, (VSAC), and are distributed based on financial need.

This program does not qualify for UVM tuition remission since it is non-credit. However, departments can use their UVM chartstring if they would like staff to complete the certificate as part of professional development.

Does the tuition rate differ if I am an out-of-state or international student?

The tuition rate is set at $1695 for all students and does not differ based on a student’s residency.

Are discounts available?

Yes! We offer a 20% discount for members of PMI-CV, VBSR, eCommerce Professionals Association, and LCRCC. Digital Marketing Fundamentals Alumni, as well as UVM and UVM Medical Center Affiliates also qualify for the 20% discount. This brings the tuition price to $1356.

What is the payment policy for this program?

All payments must be paid in full two weeks prior to the start of this offering. An attendee will not be allowed to attend this offering if a balance is due. Course enrollments are limited. To reserve your seat, you may pay a $500 deposit, or pay in full by credit card or check when you register. You will receive email reminders if you have a balance due.

Are payment plans available?

Payment plans are not currently available for this program. Tuition must be paid in full two weeks prior to beginning the program.

What is the refund policy for this program?

If you need to cancel your attendance from this offering, you must notify us via email at at least 3 days prior to the start date of this offering, to receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. If a medical condition necessitates cancellation/withdrawal (documentation provided), this will be reviewed by our Studies Committee for any type of a refund.
