Brewpub/Taproom and Restaurant Planning


David Nyhan has over 25 years of experience in the bar and restaurant industry. He started in a local bar at the age of 15 in Cork, Ireland. He was the Assistant Manager at the Quays Bar in Galway, Ireland, for five years. David was recruited by RiRa Irish Pub LLC and moved to Burlington, Vermont, in late 2003. David spent 14 years working with RiRa in several new locations throughout the East Coast of the United States, including Arlington, Virginia, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and back to Burlington. As the General Manager/Publican, David managed all aspects of running a pub, including: inventory management, staff hiring/training, menu development, guest experience, budgeting, and sales building. In 2018, David took a position with Stone Corral Brewery in Richmond, Vermont, as Taproom Manager, where he has successfully helped transition their Tasting Room over to a full-service Pub/Taproom.
