About EDSP 6320 OL1
Takes a family, school and inter-professional collaborative approach to understanding and enhancing equity and well-being for children, youth, families, and the workforce. In-service and pre-service students from across professions (child welfare, health/mental, education) will build toolkit of strategies for healthy partnerships that build resilience and strong professional practices.

Section Description
This course is part of the graduate course sequence related to Resilience‐Based Approaches with families, schools, and communities. EDSP 6320 will focus on the collaborative and interprofessional application of foundational content learned in EDSP 6300. Students in this course will engage in an interprofessional approach aimed to enhance well‐being for children, youth, families, and their own selves. At the end of this semester, in‐service and pre‐service students from across professions (child welfare, health/mental health, and schools) will have created an actionable final project that they will be able to use to effectively participate in trauma‐informed collaboration with other professionals and most importantly will impact children, youth and families who have experienced trauma and adversity.
Section Expectation
This course has seven two-week modules which will include videos, articles, as well as assigned chapters from our texts. At the end of each modules you will complete a discussion board post and respond to two other participants on brightspace and you will complete a reflection journal. There is a summative final project.
Evaluation
We use a grading system called a Labor Based Grading Contract. The contract grading system will be based on the amount of work you choose to complete for the class. If you complete an assignment you receive the points. Final Course Grades are recorded as letter grades.
