Section Description
This course uses short readings, class discussions and brief writing assignments to help undergraduate students with majors in the humanities cultivate an appreciation for how the creative, analytical, and interpretive skills they have attained through their coursework can be put to use in a wide variety of career fields. Moreover, assignments are designed to help those students fine tune their ability to market themselves to prospective employers with those skills in mind.
Section Expectation
This a fully online course (asynchronous) that begins on Thursday, December 26 and ends on Friday, January 10. Students will have short assignments each day (readings, videos, class discussions), but there will be no class meetings in real time.
Evaluation
Evaluation will be based on successful completion of daily tasks, participation in class discussions, and a small number of short writing assignments.
