Basic statistical concepts, methods, and applications, including correlation, regression, confidence intervals, and hypothesis tests. Prerequisites: Two years of high school algebra.

Section Description

This course will be held asynchronously meaning there are recorded lecturers for you to view at set periods throughout the term. You are expected to watch them on the day noted on the course calendar (typically 1 section a day). Online homework assignments will be due on Fridays by 11:59 pm and will be completed through Blackboard on the WileyPlus system. Each of these assignments covers only one section, but there will be multiple due each week. There will also be 1 quiz each week which covers all the material from that week. Exams will be completed virtually on specific days.

Section Expectation

You are expected to watch the section videos recorded for you on their respective days. You are also expected to complete the assignments by their due dates as this is not a self paced course.

Evaluation

Your grade will be broken down into four sections: weekly homework assignments, a weekly quiz, one midterm exam, and one final exam which will be cumulative.
