About ARTS 138 A

Use of digital cameras, Adobe Photoshop, and inkjet printing processes as means for description, analysis, and expression of experience. Prerequisite: ARTS 012.


Prereqs enforced by system: ARTS 012; Lab fee: $95; Cannot be taken concurrently with ARTS 137 or ARTS 237; Open to Degree and PACE students; SART, AHST, ARTE Majors; ARTS, AHST, SART minors only; Restrictions to be lifted the Monday following registration;

Section Description

An in depth exploration of color as a formal element within photographs through practice making images using digital cameras, editing using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, and printing, along with careful study of historical and contemporary color photographers.

Section Expectation

Students are required to have a digital camera or access to a digital camera for the duration of the course.
