Section Description

A study of ethical principles and applications used to help resolve dilemmas in health care delivery. Introduction to ethical decision-making models used in the practice of modern health care.

Section Expectation

Teaching methodologies used include lecture, expert guest speakers, discussion, discussion board and in-class activities. Students should plan to spend 6-9 hours per week on coursework outside of class, with additional time for larger assignments.

Evaluation

Grades are based on attendance and participation, quizzes, and assignments.
