Section Description
Through the lens of best mathematical practices, this course addresses the development numeracy dispositions, and evidence-based instructional practices for students with disabilities. Students will develop an understanding of various theories of numeracy, literacy and current, evidence-based practices for the purpose of planning/delivering effective instruction and designing lesson plans for learners with a range of individual differences (incl. cultural and linguistic) Students will use a variety of numeracy/literacy curriculum-based assessment tools for the purpose of addressing individual student needs in reading, writing, and mathematics.
