About CDAE 016 A
Digital illustration introduces methods of conceptualizing and executing illustrations to solve communication problems, using a range of techniques within vector and raster-based software applications. Prerequisite: CDAE 015, ARTS 002, or permission.

Section Description
An introductory level, studio based course. Topics and coursework focus on the development and use of illustrative imagery in communication.
Section Expectation
Typical format: hands on computer lab work using Adobe Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC, lecture and demonstration. Development of work outside of class is expected. Evaluation
Students are assessed via a range of 4 constructed illustration projects, with related practice exercises.
