Computer Science: QR:Web Client Programming

Covers client side programming in the web browser. Explores the JavaScript programming language to include user actions in your web site, and work with the DOM (Document Object Model). Semester project. Prerequisites: CS 008; CS 020 or CS 021.

Dates: May 23 - August 1, 2022

This course is designed for a six week summer session course. The course covers JavaScript and Jquery following the book chapter for chapter. This course is designed for self study, independent learning which allows flexibility to complete the assignment early so as to accommodate everyone's busy summer schedule. You can expect to work on the computer several hours each day (the actual amount of time will vary from person to person) I would plan on about 4 hours a day and see how you do. You may spend less or you may spend more depending on your comfort level. We read about 2 chapters each week. You may read ahead and finish the course early. Some folks finished the book material in a week, then spent the rest of the time on their final project.

You are graded only on two items, a final exam (based on the book) and your final project.
