Techniques and applications of integration. An introduction to multi-variable calculus: partial derivatives and double integrals. Students completing MATH 020 may be admitted to MATH 022; however, MATH 019 and MATH 023 is preferable to MATH 019. Prerequisite: MATH 019 or MATH 021.

Section Description

Continuing from Fundamentals of Calculus I, in this course you will explore a variety of topics involving integration and differentiation. These include areas between curves, integration by parts, differential equations, probability and integration, and multi-variable integration and differentiation.

Evaluation

There will be four chapter tests, each worth 20% of your grade. The MyMathLab assignments are worth 20% of your grade.
