Section Description

This course will enable students to analyze epidemiological, biostatistical, occupational, and environmental data in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical prevention and population health. Current concepts of public health, health promotion, evidence-based recommendations, determinants of health, environmental/occupational health, and cultural diversity and sensitivity are explored.

Section Expectation

Curriculum is delivered online, using UVM Blackboard, as a 3-credit course able to be completed in 4 weeks, with faculty oversight. The course is divided into 4 Modules. Each module will take a week to complete.

Evaluation

Discussion and assignments relating to population health management.
