About FREN 101 B

Improvement of functional skills: writing, listening, and speaking. Development of techniques to explain, elaborate, support opinions, convince, and persuade in both writing and speaking. Prerequisite: FREN 052 or equivalent.


Prereq: FREN 052 or equivalent; Open to Degree and CDE students

Section Description

In this class, students will develop their writing skills in French. During the semester, students will work on different genres: description, portrait, narration, essay, summary, and literary analysis. They will have to produce two drafts for each paper. They will build on their grammatical skills, and learn writing methods in French.
