Review of syntax. Readings from Plato, Herodotus, and Euripides. Prerequisite: GRK 002 or equivalent.
Prerequisites: GRK 001 and 002 or instructor permission; Open to Degree and CDE students
In this course students will build a foundation in Greek morphology, syntax, and vocabulary through selections from Demosthenes and Plato. Readings will focus on the intersections of gender and justice and the representation of women in classical texts. Prerequisites: Greek 001 and 002, or the equivalent.
Students are expected to complete all assignments and attend class. Students should expect to spend approximately six hours a week on coursework per university policy regarding work required for a three credit course, with additional time for assessments.
