Dates: July 6th - August 13, 2021

Section Description

This course will be run completely online, and I will structure it as a 'work at your own pace'. I will have a 'suggested schedule' for you to follow, but you can choose to deviate, within reason.

Section Expectation

I will have video lectures along with notes and other supplements to accompany each section that we cover. There will also be opportunities to meet with me one-on-one or in groups via Microsoft TEAMS. Students can expect to put in about 2-3 hours per section covered and we will cover about 27 sections. Here is info about course materials. Required Materials: WebAssign access for Linear Algebra with Applications 9th Edition by Garreth Williams. Note, included with this access is an e-text version of the textbook along with the portal where you will complete Assignments, Quizzes, and Tests Optional Materials: Printed Copy of the textbook: Linear Algebra with Applications 9th Edition by Garreth Williams. Some folks like a hardbound textbook, but it is not necessary. You could also use other textbooks (linear algebra) for reference, if desired. NOTE: The UVM Bookstore has both options available, but it may be cheaper to just purchase access directly through WebAssign.

Evaluation

Assignments - 30% Test 1 - 35% Test 2 - 35% All assignments and tests will be open format (i.e. allow you to use aids such as textbook, notes, calculators, Mathematica, Matlab, etc.). The only rule is no collaboration with other humans on Test 1 or Test 2.
