About RADT 279 WC1
To orient the student to a new radiation oncology department; understand basic patient flow and essential equipment. The student is also responsible for completing all necessary orientation requirements at the organization, department level, or both. This includes understanding relevant policies and procedures and SOP's. Prerequisites: RADT 275, RADT 176, RADT 174, RADT 244; Senior standing. Co-requisites: RADT 274, RADT 280.

Section Description
To orient the student to a new radiation oncology department; understand basic patient flow, where to find essential equipment (code cart, O2 tanks, etc.) for daily operations necessary for patient care. The student is also responsible for completing all necessary orientation requirements, whether at the organization, department level, or both. This includes understanding relevant policies and procedures and standard operating procedures.
