Section Description

Principles of ground water hydraulics, well characteristics, aquifers, and use of numerical methods to solve ground water flow problems. Project-based. Prerequisite: CE 160.

Section Expectation

Upon completion of this class the student will have mastered the material described above in course description and be capable of applying this knowledge in a practical context.

Evaluation

Grades are normally based upon two examinations, one or more assignments and a modeling project. However, during the covid virus crisis the examinations will be replaced by a set of 'mini tests', each covering a separate topic. Each 'mini test' examines only one section of the course. Approximately 6 'mini tests' are anticipated.
