Students will apply marketing techniques and concepts to existing local businesses as well as creating a marketing plan for a venture of their choosing. This is a Sustainability course; you will learn how concepts of sustainability influence how you create and market a business opportunity Objectives. 1. Format: Readings, quizzes, on-line discussions and written homework. Students should expect to spend at least 10 hours per week on class work Textbook: Marketing for Entrepreneurs, Concepts and Applications for New Ventures. Frederick G. Crane, Sage Press. The textbook is mandatory.
Expectations on Assignments. Any quiz, discussion or homework submitted past its due date and time may earn a zero. Extensions may be granted on a limited basis for extraordinary circumstances and must be requested by email at least 12 hours in advance of due date.
