Section Description

Students will learn how digital tools and multiple platforms have created a wide range of marketing options for organizations. Theoretical strategy, professional engagements, and hands-on practice will illustrate the strategic reasons for utilizing digital marketing and how to use the tools most effectively. Students will participate in an online simulation that mimics foundational practice in online advertising and email marketing. Students will be expected to become Inbound Marketing Certified as part of the course requirements.

Section Expectation

Expectations: 1. Define and describe current digital marketing terms and approaches. 2. Explore and Analyze professional practice in the digital marketing field including the ethics of privacy and impact of digital communication platforms on society. 3. Achieve basic proficiency in fundamental digital marketing skills including analytics, seo, email marketing, landing page optimization and advertising. 4. Practice fundamental digital marketing skills.
