Graduate Programs through the College of Education and Social Services:

For 150 years, UVM has trained thousands of Vermont teachers, school counselors and administrators. Today, the university's College of Education and Social Services (CESS) is redefining how teachers teach, how students learn and how schools connect with their communities and the world at large. The university allows accepted students to transfer up to nine credits into a graduate degree program. Before committing to a graduate program, a teacher or administrator can begin by taking graduate level CESS courses through Continuing Education. Once you're assured of your ability to succeed and that the curriculum matches your educational goals, your courses as a continuing education student will have given you a head start on your graduate degree.
