Business Savvy Registration Information

Registration Information

Available on for-credit or Professional Development, Business Savvy is designed for students majoring in, or having graduated in, the liberal arts, engineering and other non-business disciplines. Registration is open to juniors, seniors and recent graduates of UVM and other colleges and universities.

For-Credit Professional Development (Non-Credit)
Prerequisites
  • Evidence of academic achievement.
  • No prerequisites or instructor permission required.
Registration, Tuition and Fees
  • Allows you to obtain 6 UVM credits (BSAD 101).
  • Available for college juniors, seniors and alumni.
  • Instate Fees: Tuition ($2,346) + Program fee ($500) program fee = $2,846
  • Out-of-State Fees: Tuition ($5,922) + Program fee ($500) program fee = $6,422
  • Program fee covers course materials, two meals per day, business simulation, dinners with business leaders, celebration banquet, outdoor team-building experience and field trips to area businesses.

Refund Policy for Tuition
Refund Amount Withdrawal Date
100 percent Within one-fifth of class session
50 percent Within second one-fifth of class session
None after two-fifths of class session
A full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee, will be made only if a written notice is received at least 14 days prior to the start date of the program. Requests made less than 14 days before the start date will not be honored. E-mail does constitute written notification.
