There are many research opportunities at UVM, a comprehensive university with its medical school facility on the main campus. UVM is one of the top-10 cancer research facilities in the country and is a leader in back-pain research.

Many students start by volunteering or add a volunteer experience to broaden their understanding. Often finding a paid patient-care experience springs from the volunteering.
