The University of Vermont has collaborated with the world-renowned Digital Marketing Institute to offer a globally recognized search marketing certification.  The certificate content is validated by an Industry Advisory Council, representing the world’s most influential digital brands.  This industry-recognized certification will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to become a search marketing specialist. This fully online, 10-week program will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Learn the essential skills, strategies, and knowledge to plan and implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google AdWords, and web analytics that will drive results
  • Apply the latest methods, techniques, and tools for improving an organization’s search marketing and brand-building efforts
  • Produce innovative and creative search strategies, and learn how to leverage these strategies to gain competitive advantage for both your business and career

What’s more, all of our faculty and instructors are experts in the field of search marketing, so not only will you learn the framework for search marketing best practices, but you’ll also leverage your instructors’ first-hand experiences and explore case studies to help ground your learning in real-life scenarios.

Once you’ve completed the course, you’ll be awarded your certificate of completion in the Search Marketing program from UVM. In addition, you’ll be eligible to earn your globally recognized Search Marketing Certification from the Digital Marketing Institute, through completing a 3-hour Pearson VUE computer-based examination.

Bill is the Director of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) at Trinity Insight where he works with e-commerce retailers of all sizes to maximize online visibility, traffic, and revenue.  From large brands like Levi’s and Toys R Us to more modestly sized ventures, his experience includes SEO strategy, technical optimization, website development, content strategy and more. Finally when he’s not working, Bill spends his leisure time organizing the SEO Grail Philadelphia Meetup, experimenting with cocktails on TheCocktailNovice.com and taking stupid photos of his cats Larry & Leroy.
