Political Science: Life as Journalist: Myths, R
POLS 095 WQ2 (CRN: 14835)
1 Credit Hours
From /Scoop/ to /Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail/; from "The Front Page" to "The Newsroom" and from "Foreign Correspondent" to "The Year of Living Dangerously" few professions are as written-about - and as mythologized - as journalism. This class will introduce you to what journalists really do. We will examine what journalism is, and isn't, how the profession is changing and what skills aspiring journalists need in today's media job market.
