CDAE 295 WC1 (CRN: 13775)
This course focuses on using advanced EXCEL functions to calculate, manage and analyze any scale of data sets. Topics include fundamental EXCEL training and advanced EXCEL toolkits can be applicable to personal/business financial analysis, forecasting, simulations, industry trend analysis, human resource data analysis, nutrient/food consumption analysis, enrollment management, or any large scale data analysis.

Jr, Sr & Gr Students only; Prereq: Any STAT, MATH and/or ECON; Open to CE and Degree students; Jan 7-11, 2013 - 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; Winter Session campus course Pre-course reading and assignments will be sent to students starting on Dec 18. Students are expected to read assigned materials. and complete pre-course assignments. Each reading material and pre-course assignment will have a clear deadline for students to complete and submit to the Instr. by the due date via email. The pre-course materials will help students to review information with respect to variety of data collection and analysis, which will facilitate our week-long working progress. Each student will identify a research topic during the pre-course preparation period, & begin conducting literature review and data collection for the final project. More details will be shared w/stdnts starting December 18th.
