About BSAD 295 Z1

Become better prepared to lead sustainable businesses and benefit corporations by earning a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Business. Please note there will be pre-course on-line readings and discussion two weeks before the one week on campus portion of the course, and there will be a group project started during the on campus portion to be completed during the online week following the campus portion. Students will be expected to return to campus on Friday, August 8 in order to present their final projects. Students who cannot make it in person can participate remotely via Skype. The projects will center around site visits to local organizations that focus on sustainability. Details will be provided by the Instructor via Blackboard. DATES: July 14 - August 8, 2014; Cross listed with NR 285 Z2; This course is a 4 week Hybrid course; On campus meeting dates: July 28 - August 1, 2014 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm-M-F, lunch included; Fee: $20 (Software Course Support); Additional program fee: $305; Program Fee: Includes tuition, program materials, lunch daily and site visits. July 14 -July 25, 2014 & August 4 - August 8, 2014 students will participate in an online learning experience involving reading, review of educational videos, group discussions, and self assessments; Students will start group projects during the on campus portion of the course with facilitation by the lead instructor and TA. Students will finish projects during the online week following the campus portion of the course Students will be expected to return to campus on Friday, August 8 in order to present their final projects.
