Introduction to use of accounting for planning, cost behavior, budgeting, analysis, and decision making. Prerequisites: BSAD 060; Business Administration, Engineering Management, Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Sciences, Computer Science & Information Systems major, Business Administration minor; Minimum Sophomore standing.

This course surveys accounting for products/services and analytical tools for managerial decision making, planning, directing, and control.
This course combines lecture with in-class problem-solving exercises. Students should expect to spend approximately 3 hours per week on coursework outside of class.
Grades will be based on exams and homework assignments
