Interest in engaging in and questioning the way one can (or cannot) cultivate an authentic relationship with a far away community across international, cultural, and class borders. Interest in gaining hands-on, practical experience in ecological design in a community setting. This is not pie-in-the-sky, anything goes ecological design- but real design constrained by budget, community needs, and context. Finally, and most importantly, interest in self investigation of your impact in the world around you.
